Marangoni comes to control South African Leader Rubber – Global Legal Chronicle
Avvocatidiimpresa partnered Marangoni Germania in the acquisition of the South African Leader Rubber assisted by EY.
German company Marangoni Retreading Systems Deutschland GmbH – a specialist in tyre retreading materials – has acquired Leader Rubber Company, a South African company leading in the manufacture and supply of remanufactured treads and products needed for the tyre retreading process, with assistance to end customers with a wide range of solutions and tools. The seller is Regent Tyre Services Proprietary Limited, a company owned by Leader Rubber’s management.
Marangoni Germany is part of the Marangoni Group, a leader in other sectors in materials and technologies for the retreading of commercial tires.
The buyer was assisted by Avvocatidiimpresa, with Alberto Calvi di Coenzo and Rosanna Frischetto. Ernst&Young South Africa provided assistance to the seller.
