The company Sima Ita, of which the French company Simago is a part, took over 100% of Gemini Rx, one of the most renowned structures of excellence in the diagnostic branch of the province of Brescia, based in Travagliato and operational since 1981. Active on the market since more than 40 years, Gemini Rx is a diagnostic center that operates both privately and in accreditation with the National Health Service: thanks to cutting-edge technological equipment, the center offers more than 250 different types of different specialist diagnostic tests (including including magnetic resonance, CT, traditional and dental radiology), making over 200,000 visits a year. The company has 75 employees, collaborators and doctors: in 2022 the turnover reached and exceeded 13 million euros. “Thanks to Sima Ita’s entry into the capital – reads a note – the center will continue its growth path with even greater vigor”.
The details of the operation
The shareholders of Gemini Rx were assisted, as financial advisor, by Equita K Finance, a member of Clairfield International and part of the Equita group, while for the legal and contractual aspects by the lawyer Alberto Calvi di Coenzo of Avvocatidiimpresa: Sima Ita is instead she was assisted by Chiomenti Studio Legale for the legal and contractual aspects. “After having pondered the choice for a long time – say the owners of Gemini Rx – we have decided to sell Gemini Rx to a recognized and important international operator in the sector who, we are sure, will guarantee an even more prosperous future for the reality we have built thanks to the precious contribution of all employees, doctors and collaborators”. Concurrent with the closing, the previous owners of Gemini Rx will remain as shareholders to support its further development.
